Albumin in short supply, patients, doctors on edge

MUMBAI: A life-saving injection called albumin has been in short supply in Mumbai for the last few days, forcing relatives of patients to run around in search of vials. Liver specialist Dr Aabha Nagral said, “Seven patients admitted under my care at this moment need albumin desperately, but it is extremely difficult to procure.”
